About the position
As a construction engineer, you will work broadly as project support. With us, you are a key person contributing to ensuring that everything runs smoothly in production together with the site manager and support functions. The role involves working with production planning, project economics, and contract administration as well as cost estimation and bidding work. You will participate in purchasing, attend construction meetings, liaise with client representatives, and manage financial settlements with clients and subcontractors.

You will belong to our project management team in Uppsala, which is part of Peab Construction Region East, and report to project manager Joachim Branteström. We operate throughout Uppsala County, so you need to be prepared for our projects to be located in this area. Uppsala is in an expansive phase, and we want to strengthen our organization. 

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education, preferably with a focus on construction, or who has acquired equivalent knowledge through extensive work experience. You have at least 5 years of experience in construction operations, such as a construction engineer, site manager, cost engineer, or project manager.

You are familiar with working with quantity-regulated contracts and have good knowledge of AMA and MER as well as cost estimation work. You should have practical experience in forecasting and project economics. It is also advantageous if you have worked with schedules and resource allocation. Since the position involves supporting production in various projects, it is a requirement that you have a valid driver's license (B).
